Change and Growth are Possible at any point along the path of life

Welcome

I know what it is like to feel as though your work and life have lost meaning,  what it is to wake up each morning feeling like you’re living a wrong life, asking yourself is there more to this, or am I just being unrealistic? And where the hell did my Sunday go, while I was worrying about Monday?

It was in this place that I made the change I was looking for, by retraining as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, and coach at the Quest Institute.

My ‘professional’ background is in technical authoring and business analysis, and I have enjoyed many years working with individuals and teams to help them connect the dots, discover unique solutions to difficult issues and implement the change required to realise these solutions.

I am also an artist and writer, with a masters degree in contemporary art, and have spent my whole life exploring the world through my creativity.

Everything I have ever studied, worked toward and experienced has led me here, to helping others and supporting them on their own journey. So when we work together, all of this shows up. All of me is present and I promise to bring creativity, surprise, structure, determination, and total commitment to helping you to get to where you want to be.

About Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Coaching

I use a bespoke, client-centred approach that honours the unique experience of each person, which is underpinned by the following core principles:

Everyone already has everything they need within them to find their solution state.

Sometimes we just need a helping hand to recognise and utilise our resources and find our strengths again.

All behaviour has a purpose (and a positive intention)

About 90% of what we do on a daily basis is driven by the subconscious, whose sole task is to keep us safe (driving us away from pain and toward pleasure). Our brain is tuned to learn from experience, however is prone to misinterpret events, especially when we are young. These misinterpretations can continue to grow over time, becoming worse and presenting as various issues, and beliefs about our self. However, lucky for us, the brain is not fixed and using our trance states we can connect with our subconscious and change our behaviour.

Trance is an everyday occurrence and not a special state.

Whenever we daydream or find ourselves completely absorbed in an activity, this is an altered state of consciousness and is an example of trance. These trance states can play a role in many of our problems, while also holding the key to the solutions. During a session you will not 'be hypnotised' or lose conscious awareness. You will be in full control, aware and awake the entire session.

Treat the problem not the label. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’

Because we are all unique and our personal experience shapes the world in which we live, I will meet and work with you in your model of the world, at your pace, helping you to unlock your solutions and create the lasting change that you want.
