I am registered as Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

I only collect the bare minimum of personal data, for the purposes of managing this website, responding to your enquiries and providing you with the services and resources that you have requested. Your information will not be sold to any third party. Your information will not be disclosed for any other purpose than what is strictly necessary, for example, disclosing to my insurers and/or professional advisers (only as reasonably necessary) for the purposes of obtaining and maintaining insurance coverage, managing risks, obtaining professional advice and managing legal disputes and in accordance with my accrediting body the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), as detailed below in ‘Reasons for collecting Personal Data.’.

No personal information is required to access this site. However when using the Contact Form, please note that the following personal information is collected:

  • To enable me to contact you in relation to your enquiries. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by notifying the Data Protection Officer (details below) in writing.

Categories of Personal Data collected and processed when working Together

  • Name and contact details

  • Appointments and sessions that you have booked and attended

  • Dates that these have taken place

  • Session notes, the keeping of which is intrinsic to the work we do together and enables me to provide you with a tailored treatment plan, these are based on our discussion and my observations and are kept in line with professional guidelines. You have the right to request to see these notes at any time.

  • Payment transaction data

All Personal Data collected in this way is stored securely.

Reasons for collecting Personal Data

Any information that you provide is used as follows:

  • For me to keep accurate records of my clients for HMRC purposes, which include invoicing.

  • Keeping accurate client records in accordance with my legal obligations as stated by my accrediting body, the NCH - this is to provide evidence of clients I have worked with and includes your name, email address, dates and the number of hours that we worked together. They may contact you in the future to confirm this in relation to me as a practitioner. The NCH also have privacy policies in place.

Providing your Personal Data to others

Any financial transactions relating to this website and my services may be handled by my payment services providers, (To Be Confirmed). Transaction data is shared with these payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
